The W+K Residency is the Wieden+Kennedy internship program for college grads, where the agency opens up it's doors for fresh diverse talent to come be an accomplice to our unique brand of crazy. It's not making tea and coffee, you're deep in it working on real jobs for the likes of Nike, Chobani, Soylent and Old Spice.
To promote the program to colleges around the world, myself and the wonderful Justin Robinson created a dynamic identity inspired by the doors we stroll through each day. We asked people from departments of the agency to create artwork about what it feels like to work at W+K and call this mad place your home.
Just like Goldilocks, the door shape adjusts to it’s context to make sure it’s just right. On social media it takes on the form of a square, it can shrink to fit as an email signature and takes on ratio of our Portland doors for posters around college campuses. It's a flexible container to hold our crazy creative.
