I'm Sue.
Liam Neeson and I have one thing in common: we’re both Irish.

Then we’re opposites. I’m 5’3”, he’s 6’4”, and unlike his character in Taken where he has a very particular set of skills — I have a very broad set of skills.

To hop on the way back machine, I'm originally from a small island off the bottom of Ireland. My Dad said I came free in a box of Cornflakes. I have yet to see proof of this. Due to spending most of my youth on a computer, I've ended up with several multimedia certificates from nerdy summers, a 1st class honours BA degree in Visual Communications from IADT in Dublin, a scholarship to attend the Savannah College of Art & Design where I received a MA in Advertising (where I'm currently the official Advertising Mentor for the department) and a diploma in Dutch. Ja.

Since then I've lived for several years in places like Amsterdam (yes I have a Dutch-style bike), NYC and Portland, working at agencies such as Wieden+Kennedy, Ogilvy, and Wolff Olins. It makes me full-body cringe to talk about, but I've been named one of PRINT's 15 under 30 New Visual Artists, gotten some Cannes Lions, D&AD Pencils, have an Extraordinary Ability Alien Visa (Justin Bieber has it too) and a few mentions here and there.

Something that reveals a bit of my personality: I get up at a very early time every day to consume the internet and take classes at Yale for a few hours before work. My spare time is mostly spent talking about ideas with my other half Andrew Peet, reading, daydreaming about sweets, digesting design, telling our puppy to stop eating that, making weird shit and not making any more Tumblrs (on #18), judging award shows, and mentoring students and finally finishing my bio.
